George K. Busse - Supervisor
George’s family moved to Elk Grove Township in 1848. He grew up in Mt. Prospect and he graduated from Prospect H.S. George attended Vanderbilt University on an NROTC scholarship and graduated in 1976. He entered the Navy as an Ensign upon graduation and spent eight years on active duty before transferring to the Navy Reserve in 1984.  While on active duty he served tours on destroyers, a Destroyer Squadron Staff, the Joints Chiefs of Staff and the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs. He also earned his master’s degree from Old Dominion University. George returned to Illinois in 1986 and joined William Blair & Company, a Chicago based financial institution where he became a partner and managing director.  In 2006 he retired from the Navy Reserve as a Captain after 30 years of service and five command tours.  He retired from William Blair in 2018.

George has always been committed to community service.  He has served as Chairman of the Mount Prospect Fire and Police Commission, Vice Chairman of the Village’s Finance Commission, and Vice Chairman of both the St. Paul Lutheran Church and School Board of Directors. He is currently the Elk Grove Township Clerk having been appointed to the position in 2015. Prior to his appointment to Clerk, he served as a Township Trustee for 15 years. George is a member of Mount Prospect Lions Club and the Mount Prospect American Legion. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Glenview State Bank and Northwest Suburban Dollars for Scholars. In his spare time, he is a High School District 214 substitute teacher.  George and his wife Suzanne live in Mount Prospect and have five adult children

Suellen Satern - Clerk
Suellen is completing her third term as trustee for Elk Grove Township.  During her tenure, she has also served as Secretary of the Township Officials of Cook County - Trustee Division. Suellen was raised in Northbrook and attended Glenbrook South High School.  She graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in political science.

For 23 years, Suellen has been a dedicated employee of School District 59, working in the school libraries at Clearmont School in Elk Grove Village and Robert Frost School in Mount Prospect.  She is passionate about instilling a love of reading in her students.  Suellen has been instrumental in having students at her schools write letters and collect items for soldiers to be sent by Packages 4 Patriots, a local organization.

Suellen and her husband Jason have been residents of Elk Grove Village since 1983.  They have two daughters, Kristina and Elizabeth, who attended school in District 59 and District 214 where Suellen was an active volunteer in each school they attended.  She is also involved at Village Point Church in EGV where she has organized food drives for the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry. She enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren.

Connie Carosielli - Assessor
Connie has served as Elk Grove Township Assessor and your taxpayer advocate for 31 years. She has established a culture of customer service that has become a model for other government agencies. As a Certified Illinois Assessment Officer, she has over 800 hours of training in the assessment field. A graduate of the University of Holy Names in California, she went on to obtain credentials in the field of education. Connie has taught at the high school level in both public and private institutions. Throughout her career, Connie has focused on educating taxpayers to better prepare them to effectively navigate the Cook County Property Tax System. As a past President of the Cook County Township Assessors’ Association and Board member for 30 years, she has lived her commitment to the principles of fair and equitable assessments. In 2004 Connie received the prestigious Marshall Thoreaux Award for her statewide contributions to the assessment profession.

Connie has lived in Mount Prospect for 50 years, during which she has participated in many community organizations, such as P.T.A., scouting, and women’s clubs. Connie and her late husband, Mike, have two grown children and two granddaughters.

Vince Dante - Trustee
Vince is a candidate for Elk Grove Township Trustee and is running for his first term. For the past 20 years he has lived in Mt. Prospect and he loves the location and the people. Vince is a Coast Guard veteran and has diverse experience and education in construction, HVAC, cyber-security, and internet technology. Before becoming a Chicagoland REALTOR® with Baird and Warner, Vince was an IT Director. Throughout his career he has honed his listening, problem-solving, management, and organizational skills. These are several of the important talents that Vince will bring to the Township Board.

In addition to his real estate business, Vince is a member of the Mt. Prospect and Arlington Heights Chambers of Commerce and serves as a promoter for the Mt. Prospect Chamber. He is Vice President of the Mt. Prospect Lions Club and a market manager for the Mt. Prospect farmers market. Vince dedicates a great deal of his time to Feed My Starving Children and helps raise funds for high school sport programs.  

Vince relaxes by spending time with his family and their Golden Retriever, Bailey. They appreciate the outdoors and enjoy camping and fishing in the summer and building snowmen and sledding in the winter. A life-long hockey player, Vince played college club and now plays year-round in a local hockey league.

Richard A Keenley - Trustee
Richard has served as an Elk Grove Township Trustee since April of 2018 when he was appointed to fill a vacancy. He is a lifelong resident of Des Plaines and attended Terrace Elementary School and Northridge Preparatory School in Niles. In 1984 he enlisted in the US Navy and served 4 years aboard the Guided Missile Cruiser USS Worden in Pearl Harbor, HI. During his military career he achieved the rank of Petty Officer Second Class as an Operations Specialist and participated in 2 Western Pacific Deployments in the USS Constellation Battlegroup.

After being Honorably Discharged in 1988 Richard received an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the College of Lake County and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Applications from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Richard lives in Des Plaines, is married and their children have attended St Zachary School as well as District 59 and 214 schools.     

For the past 30 years Richard has been employed by Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, and has worked in various areas of responsibility, currently as Senior Stability Technician.  

Richard is a former elected Trustee of the Loyal Order of Moose-Mt Prospect, and has supported St Zachary School in Des Plaines as a member of School Board and as Athletic Director. He is currently President of the St Zachary Parish Men’s Club.

Dale Niewiardowski - Trustee
Dale’s family moved to Elk Grove Township in the early 1940’s. A lifelong resident of Elk Grove Township, Dale was born at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and he attended Rupley Elementary School, Grove Junior High, and Elk Grove High School; Class of 1986. He graduated from Triton College in River Grove. Dale continues to operate his family business in the same location on Oakton Street where it started. Dale is Vice President of Nevarr Inc. - Lawn and Construction Equipment Division, Nevarr Inc. - Public Safety and Homeland Security Division, and Nevarr Property Management LLC.

Dale was first elected Elk Grove Township Trustee in 2013. He has also previously served as the President of the Trustees of Schools for District 59, and 57. Currently he serves as Vice President, and Assistant Secretary and Treasurer for Northwest Mosquito Abatement District.

Greg Wojtecki – Trustee
Greg is a candidate for Elk Grove Township Trustee and is running for his first term. Greg has been a resident of Elk Grove Township since 2011. His father started a business in 1985 named North Shore Consultants, Inc. In 1997, a commercial building in Elk Grove Village was purchased for the family business in 1997 where it operates today. Since its inception, Greg worked with his father and currently runs the business. As the sole employee, Greg is responsible for all aspects of operation including purchasing, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, accounts payable/ and receivable, and maintenance. The ability to multi-task and make important decisions across the many aspects of his business are some of the skills Greg will bring to the Elk Grove Township Board.

Greg attended Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, and Triton College in River Grove. He lives with his wife and elderly mom in unincorporated Elk Grove Township. Greg’s wife has been a nurse for 30 years, and they have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren. Their oldest daughter completed her medical degree and is in her first year of residency in Michigan and her goal is to practice in pediatrics. Her husband is a dedicated police officer in Dearborn, MI. Their middle daughter is a devoted full-time mother of 5. Greg’s youngest daughter lives in Texas and is active in her church and community.     

Currently, Greg is a board member of the Forestview Homeowners Association in unincorporated Elk Grove Township and has been since 2013. Greg is driven by a desire to support his neighbors and a passion for serving his community.
